Despite its

American origin, with the drive time it has become more and more influential names in European guise. Disco business in Europe has grown purely musical level of the business, including as part of the economy in a number of countries.

European disco developed mainly in the Nordic countries and Germany (which is probably predetermined his several “coldish” sound), where there were many highly technical teams and producers – from ABBA to Supermax, successfully used in his work elements of the “classics”, art, reggae et al. the German “registration” and had a disco staff Boney M, consisting of black musicians, vocalists.

Disco was (and still is) “the plate” culture. “Live” performance here does not have such a “sacred” meaning as in rock, as essentially disco music is applied. Undoubtedly, as a performing artist of individuality in the disco is very significant, but it is in the first place – “the person on the cover,” for which there is a “gray cardinal”, namely the producer. Among the “bosses” disco business can be called Giorgio Moroder, Frank Farian, Jacques Morali and others.
